Musing of the Mun (FF14)
From my retired FFXIV ask blog, might possibly be relevant here if I ever get the inspiration to work on them again outside of playing through MSQ.
Biography: I don’t talk about myself in detail on the internet because I don’t think my life is that interesting. In terms of being a mun for this ask blog, I suppose I should call myself the manager…? That seems strange, but I guess for a bunch of short term jobbers* it makes sense.
*not the wrestling term. A term of working based on the amount of work produced.
Overenthusiastic, fresh faced, and perpetually sardonic loremonger who got into XIV by watching streams but only seriously getting into the game after doing practically everything aside from playing it. (Been playing off and on for about a year now.) Now adding an ask blog to the list of things I’ve been doing that are XIV centric.
The funny thing about that stream is when I asked a question in response to the lore I was pretty much told verbatim "get off the stream, don't spoil yourself, go play the game" and I went with the salute emoji and said "yessir" and I've been here ever since.
The way I write in some of my bios is less self reflective of my attitude and more reflective in the way I come across, which might be annoying, but that’s only because I see myself as annoying sometimes. I tend to vanish and then sporadically post across various social medias in bursts, which means sometimes I’m hard to get. My sleep schedule is nonexistent.
There’s a lot I haven’t explicitly said about these OCs because a lot of it is just scatterbrained thoughts based on “stuff I think looks cool” or “stuff I think would be nice to have in a detail” and “stuff that’s a bit lore breaking, but who doesn’t do that, sometimes it’s nice to break the rules.”
I’m working on myself as an artist and writer (I always say that). I can barely get past stick figures or anything beyond a beginning paragraph before I say “this sucks” and end up deleting it. I’ve made a side blog to post everything, whether it’s good or bad, but my mind has been stuck on just drawing horses this year.
I’ll link my fanfiction series for the Part Timers eventually from my fic account, which will likely consist of one shots considering that their entire basis in XIV stories are outside of the MSQ. I’ll have likely multiple MSQ series and the isekai AU linked too eventually, but I like reading about slice of life stories in non mundane worlds alongside the usual grand adventure styled stories.
