Back when I still called this tentative fic project Battle Network X. Mostly bullet points, hasn't been refined.

Battle Network is insane because you can mix in X, Classic, and Legends because all of them showed up and even then there’s still a lot of characters you may not get to. Megaman is quite the cast. Note that this was like, pre OC main character conversion, so it’s possible to just substitute Lan with whatever new name I come up for the new main character.

Do the Mavericks picked have a cohesive theme to them?
No these are just the ones who’s designs I think would work in BN but also some are designs I liked

Battle Network X New girl moves into ACDC Town, Lan is a busybody Locked out of her house because viruses(Tutorial Battle) Hey let’s help her some more! Weird grandfather clock she tries to move SHE IS FROZEN IN TIME 1st Boss: Timeman New girl finally introduces herself as Kalinka (There was a battle network design for her that never got used, reference that or possibly her X Over design.) Sigma is starting a NetNavi rebellion but Megaman deletes Him but what happens in between all that? X and Axl are There as Navis who survived Sigma’s first escapade (different from later origins) Zero is chilling since he was already used in network transmission Sigma decides since he’s an Independent Solo Navi he should rule the world and other NetNavi’s should rebel Rosencrantz and Gilbert are here still as investigators not using the net until Axl decides “hmm. I am going to be a bother.” Yes there will be Archie OC’s it’s my fanfiction and I can add who I want and ruin the lore however I want I guess some Navi’s need OC operators…eck. Sigma kinda just wants to give his speeches however Chaud is trying to assassinate him alongside a team of competent people (team protoman 2!!) so eventually he just decides “Violence.” want the guys who showed up in Battle Chip Challenge to show up but a lot of criminals from 2 were also there as challengable characters I guess it’s team hey remember these guys? Mamoru is there as the team reserve and is more or less the emergency kill button because Lan is investigating the company that made AutoNavi’s which then get renamed to a different form to reference their X names and also mavericks Sub: Quick Man, Defense: Freeze Man (did freeze man already exist in BN with an OP and I just forgot?) Scouting: Turbo Man, Healer: Ring, Leader: Proto Man Reserve: Serenade Helping is Double but…he double crosses you So this one (scenario) should try and round up the NetNavi’s that didn’t get to show up that were Missing from the numbers before But not all of them? So does this involve 9 10 and 11 in the line up 9 Yes Boss List (It’s 12 of Them for the last 2 but 22 in White so Maybe 15 Bosses?) Can I even come up with 15 Scenarios? Boss List is in a seperate Document You Need to Put Mavericks Here somehow Maybe you should leave the Mavericks to the new X scenario…. Dr.Doppler shows up and he says he has the cure to the Sigma Virus (Sigma replaced the dark chips with Chips made from Him and Navis were turning up corrupted and also turning into him) (I swear I’m not ripping off Defrag (a different fan fiction I read after coming up with Prog Rock ) but how else would the Virus Spread and Dark Chips are always popping up like the plague) Dr. Doppler is killed by Double because he double crosses you and ruins your progress. W.Waltz and Piano are here as sisters operating the Gemini Men? Running gag that they call themselves the daughters of Wily when they are explicitly not What about Allies? So unaffiliated with Team Protoman Mk 2 will be the 9 Navi’s, some Solo and some partnered but I don’t like OC’s so I won’t be focusing on them Make your own Mr. Prog! (It’s a feature) HE DIES. VILE SNIPES HIM HE SHOVES MEGAMAN OUT OF THE WAY X goes sicko mode on Vile in a cutscene (Obviously). MAGMA DRAGOON HIDES HIMSELF IN A VOLCANO AND LAN HAS TO BATTLE IN A VOLCANO(Wants to Fight X but he’ll settle for the “Prototype”, whatever that means) There is a reveal that X may or may not be a Copy of Megaman but that’s impossible unless there was another dead kid involved There was. The failed prototype was Quint. Chaud’s Bonus scenario involves him asking people if they were the ones hosting the Mavericks/Irregulars on their computer and everyone gets more increasingly hostile towards him the longer you get in the post game until “Tempo” attacks him. Mamoru is disappointed that he didn’t get to do anything (I think he should’ve recovered/ gotten a better treatment from HBD now but it still gets referenced) so Lan decides to cheer him up with a netbattle! i’m good with this as a concept… I forgot Bass There’s a hint that he might be connected to Kalinka somehow but it’s not elaborated on and she won’t budge. Guess Lan’s not high enough of a friendship level with her. Since I edited X2 to have an X Scenario I suppose I should put an X scenario here too? Where’s Zero? The Hunt for Zero and explaining Network Transmission (For People who didn’t play it) So Since X and Axl are hanging out with the Archie OC’s I guess this can be the area where adults do things and more than one maverick is fought Who made Sigma anyways? SciLab’s more incompetent cousin? Blame Electopia. I guess the 9 Navi’s can be here as well? Better start writing those OC’s Mavericks Fought are…. Eventually. Why did I pick X when I have no knowledge of X compared to classic or BN… Corrupted Zero? Absolute Zero? I have no clue!
