Transformers and Time

Been rewatching Jem and the Holograms. I’ve always wondered if that franchise is feasible for any kind of reboot especially when we have such things like holograms through vocaloids and vtubers and virtual idols. Too bad the live action reboot and comic are super dead. In my mind since I’ve been watching transformers too and my brain keeps going “oooh you wanna write a Jem crossover where Synergy’s a cybertronian computer like Teletran-1” and I have to gently usher that plot bunny into a fence alongside other stray transformers thoughts until I get further into the show. I’ve been meaning to read through the various comics as well but the difficult thing about comics is that when the license is gone they become scarce to find and transformers has been through quite a few different publishers (Marvel, Dreamwave, IDW)… I have the unfortunate habit of being like “I wanna start from the 1st iteration” so while I’ve heard the Skybound comics are good, I’m over here trying to figure out if I read through the UK Marvel comics since they have additional comics added in. I also downloaded a clash of clans ripoff (Earth wars) since I need something to do in my free time that isn’t just rotating between shows. I wonder how much more transformers stuff I’ll be able to get through before the year ends…
