Thinking on WIPs

Being able to make this one image transparent was a fun exercise, but I'm actually here to post my roleswap fic reference images for Dark Memory which is a Pokespe Villain swap fic which will hopefully be the next WIP I get out since it's only a concept fic rather than a full fledged thing.



The original title was "dark memory of prodigal children" but I thought that was kind of a title that might've been too edgy even for me so I cut it down so it only has the silvally reference. At some point a Pokespe AU tends to focus on having team rocket grunt Red be a thing but I went further based on this one pinterest (ughh) image I saw and decided "what if Red was the leader of team rocket? How would a character who's such a good guy have to be like to fit in that position?" and from there it somehow spiraled into this whole "what if kanto was never established the way it was in the pokemon universe because all of the key players were literal children" and proceeded to browse bulbapedia for all sorts of characters to dump into the roleswap. Red as Giovanni, Yellow as Lance, and Blue (girl) as the Masked...Something. Madam? Lady? Anyways check out this chart I made, now I'm off to go write about Red's parental abandonment issues. Essentially, Kanto is a younger region instead of an established old one and in light of being completely neglected by the pokemon association and overlooked it takes everyone outside by surprise when there are two different villainous factions (Team R and the Masquerade) that proceed to team up and start wreaking havoc all over.


There's a few extra characters I'm gonna consider having a role later on, like Blaine and his mewtwo thing, but I think this at the very least would cover maybe like the first 3 arcs at maximum and 4 chapters focused on each different character at minimum. Green (guy) is also here because the entire timeline is already whacky.
